We hope everyone had a good time at this year’s Grandparents and Special Friends’ Day event on September 6th . After taking a hiatus from hosting this type of event for a few years, it felt like the right time to get it back on our school calendar. Grandparents and Friends were invited to tour the school, enjoy lunch (catered by Café 56) and have dessert with their grandchildren and loved ones. Guests were invited to take a look into the Elementary II classrooms, which have transitioned to the full Montessori curriculum. Elementary II consists of grades 4-6 th . They also had a chance to observe a science class, Elementary I work cycles and to see our beautiful outdoor learning garden.
We hope to make this an annual event and to share with our families the special community that makes Ratner so unique.
