TV & Film Club - Spring 2025

TV & Film Club is open to students in Grades 6, 7, and 8

Session Dates: 4/4, 4/11, 5/9, 5/16

Times: 3:30 - 5:45

Cost: $100

Description: Spring session of Film Club will focus on old and new projects as well as the unboxing and setup of the new equipment that Ratner was able to procure using a grant. The new equipment includes a new Mac computer, new cameras, microphones, lights, backdrops and a teleprompter. The main project for this session will be producing the video presentation for the graduating class of Spring 2025. Additionally, we will continue work on the short film initiated last session, focusing on what a reshoot should contribute, along with inserts, updated editing, and sound enhancement. Furthermore, we will partner with the Journalism Club to utilize and set up the teleprompter, as well as to develop effective interview techniques. Please note: This club is 4 sessions - 2 hours each, for a total of 8 hours.
