when I think of Montessori the first thing I picture you mediately is the child the child has a mind that is able to absorb knowledge he has the power teach himself the greatest gift that we can give our children are rooted in responsibility but giving them the independence Montessori said any unnecessary given to a child is a hindrance to their development I'm in kindergarten what's your favorite part of the day probably this right now my favorite thing about learning excitement in the eyes of someone who has discovered something brand new cell bars this is more used for during the kingslayer in it a long time ago and what is the people Daddy are still alive poopy Bridges it's it's an Enlightenment just a upon a true excitement is joy helps your brain grow and get iron spider every day traditional setting you might have the student sitting and isolation I struggled in traditional education constantly being told that they said you'd eat too much or that they're moving too much they're not paying attention and I seen them get into a work and just seeing double chin it for hours Montessori realize that children do not learn bass sitting at desk sitting still that's not developmentally appropriate learning materials are made so that a child can touch and feel and move things to make learning exciting when I think of the mind of the Montessori student they are inquisitive thoughtful Risk Takers and stumble around until they get it right learning is something that is playful when I see her child I can't even tell you what it does instant stepping in and telling them know you didn't do that right we're building self-confidence they're being given that power-of-choice my teachers don't talk down to me like I'm a kid who needs guidance to talk to me like I'm one of them. you going to watch your kids while them because they're becoming independent kindness is important so you can share PCS around the world preventing conflict is the work of politics establishing peace is the work of Education you don't just eat snacks all day long we teach mindfulness that is part of our everyday that comes back to Growing caring respectful community-minded humans friends the best thing about my classmates is they stand up for each other class is my friends like without them I probably wouldn't be my life I am now you don't need to fight over something you can just talk it out this is just an unbelievably welcoming family deep deep commitment to diversity that makes a difference in the lives of everything here I get excited to come to work everyday what kind of sound funny from a teacher but you feel like part of a family when you're a Ratner watching in it. People greeting you from the head of school all the way down to the person that takes care of lunch everybody knows everybody's name those kids come in that door in her smiling they give you a hug it just it washes away anything else happening a veterinarian cuz I love all animals excited to be an artist or a musician I am very excited to see where the school will take me I think teaching is hard hard big word but the one thing I go home every night and I know we could get I know I know that when I leave the school I leave with love
