Student Travel Learning Experiences

GRADES 5 AND 6

Ratner 5th and 6th Grade students visit historic sites in, and on the way to, Pittsburgh, and participate in survival skill/team building experiences in places like Heifer Global Village in Michigan.

The group traveled to Michigan in April 2016. Trip photos can be viewed on our Facebook page.
In Spring 2017, the group will enjoy a trip to Pittsburgh. Experiences will include a visit to The Carnegie Science Center, The Duquesne Incline, a tour of Heinz Field, and more!

GRADES 7 AND 8

Students in Grades 7 and 8 alternate their travel each year between Washington, D.C and The Island School in Eleuthera, Bahamas. Preparation for each experience encompasses all curricular areas, from Art to Science to History to Global Studies.

Washington D.C. was the destination for the 2015-2016 school year. Trip photos can be viewed on our Facebook page.

The Island School is the destination for the 2016-2017 school year.
