This foundation is created in a prepared environment, channeling each child's enthusiasm into independence, self-confidence and respect for oneself and others. A goal of the Toddler Classroom is to allow children to experience learning as a truly joyous and rewarding activity.

  • Three - Four year olds
    Full or half day options

Children are at their most receptive age for a variety of learning experiences between three and six years old. When children are engaged in an age-blended prepared environment, they develop their physical and mental powers along with an ongoing desire for further growth and intellectual inspiration.

"I love that the kids interact with different age groups. They learn so much from just watching each other. I am seeing a lot of progress this year and my son loves coming to school."

- Kindergarten Parent

Montessori materials possess definite purpose, order and self-correcting properties. The following areas are in all of our Montessori classrooms:

Practical Life

While children work at activities such as washing dishes or sweeping the floor, they gain experience in caring for themselves and their environment. At the same time, they are developing concentration and a sense of pride in their work.

Sensorial Materials

Many physical materials are used to guide children to recognize, sort, classify and understand their world.

Language and Math

As children exhibit readiness, language and math materials are introduced. The materials are designed to guide the children to progress from concrete to abstract concepts.

Other Areas of the Classroom

Lessons are presented in science, art, geography (people and land) and large muscle activity, further broadening and enhancing each child’s world. Children also receive classes in music and Judaic Studies.
