PARTNERSHIPS
The Ratner School engages students in numerous, diverse and enriching educational partnerships with local organizations in the Greater Cleveland area. This prepares our students to be global citizens who understand that they are vital members of a larger community.

The Empowerment Center of Greater Cleveland
Students throughout the Primary and Middle School collected food and purchased either turkeys or gift cards for families.
Judson at University Circle and The Intergenerational School, Cleveland
Residents have been visiting The Ratner School monthly to join our 7th and 8th grade art classes.
3rd and 4th grade students joined Judson seniors and Intergenerational School students to take field trips together to University Circle. They have been sharing activities with visiting artists at both of our campuses for 5 years.

Students engage with volunteer professionals from the business community to discuss a variety of topics in "hands on" small groups projects.
JSFA and the Ratner Mitzvah Garden
Students from Montessori through 8th grade harvested produce to share with elderly immigrants from the Jewish Community.
New Life Community, Cleveland
Our 7th and 8th grade students helped to complete a colorful community mural on a residential floor. Our Montessori students collected goods for families as part of our winter celebration.

North Point Shelter, Cleveland
Our 7th and 8th grade students joined students from several other schools to transform the space with colorful designs on doors. Students from grades 5-8 created colorful quilts to hang in their gathering space in the style of the Quilters of Gee’s Bend.
