The strength of Ratner’s Middle School program is a function of our commitment to the individual and to ensuring that each individual can be a successful part of the larger community. We know that each student has a unique “learning profile,” and comes into our Middle School with a distinct blend of strengths and challenges. Our job is to meet students where they are and support them as they reach heights they had not dreamed were possible! |

GLOBAL STUDIES PROGRAM In Grades 5-8, students have "Global Studies" every year. Our goal is to ensure that each Ratner graduate will be able to think and act like responsible and knowledgeable global citizens, with the skill set needed to dissect and analyze problems of global complexity. |

SELF-CONFIDENT CURIOUS LEARNERS - READY TO SUCCEED ANYWHERE! Students find themselves at The Ratner School. We know that our students have to leave us prepared to succeed at their next school. While many of our students go on to successful academic careers in independent schools in the area including Hawken, Gilmour, University School, Lawrence, and Laurel, other students go on to public high schools in Orange, Shaker Heights, Chagrin Falls, etc. They grow into self-confident, curious learners, and when they go to their next school, their stars shine brightly. |  |
